Thursday Jimmy and I went to the awards ceremony for the 11th annual Visual Arts contest for the Society of the Performing Arts where one of my students, Daniel Ayala, won second place! We are so proud of him! Daniel and his family came to Jones Hall to get his award, it was decorated so beautiful with all the christmas trees and a big gingerbread house!They had a banquet with dinner and gave us all tickets to see the show after dinner (which we didn't stay for)
