It's all about June

This week I have really felt exhausted with the pregnancy. I can barely walk when I come home from work and that is when my awesome husband helps me so much. My mom came over tonight to get June and give me a break! She also helps soooooooo much!

I tried to get some pics of June in her costume but she kept messing up her hair, pulling off the bow, the straps wouldn't stay on, the tights are too big, and she wanted a cookie and whined the whole time

My little bee! She just makes me smile all the time! I love that bee!!

June discovered this unusually low light switch in our living room and ever since she found it, we have light, now we don't, light, no light, light,no light.......theres no stoppin her!

She is OBSESSED with books. She will bring you a book and want to get in your lap and then have you read it to her over and over. Her favorite book is this little Halloween book I got at the dollar store and Goodnight Moon.

My students made these little 3-d haunted houses this week and they have been really excited about their projects.

Here are some videos of June doing her little dance. Usually she gets this little arm swing going, but not today. My mom got her these squeaky shoes that she LOVES and she does these cute dances with her feet when I put them on her. You can hear them squeaking in the second video!

One of June's new favorite things is riding her scooter down the drive-way. we must have done it 100 times over!

June likes to negotiate when you tell her no to anything. Here she is trying to go up the stairs and she is trying to use her cuteness and negotiating voice tone to get her way.

Halloween Birthday and Last Year

So Halloween is a pretty special day in our family because it is Jimmy's birthday too!! I would hate having my birthday overshadowed by a holiday, but it looks like this baby is going to fall on or REALLY close to Christmas and New Years seeing that my due date is January 1st. Here is a cute pic of Jimmy's 2nd birthday with his adorable pumpkin cake! We are looking forward to the Halloween/Jimmy's birthday party at Aunt Sara's this year!

Photobucketere are some pics from our decorating pumpkins last year. June slept through the whole thing and I caught this picture of her smiling in her sleep that is one of my favorite of all pics! Keosha put the pumkin sticker on her tummy. She was probably dreaming of her first taste of apple juice at Aunt Sara's who wouldn't let her first child have any sugar or even lick icing off his fingers of her own birthday cake when he was a baby. I think Claire had a sucker in her mouth from the day her little hands knew how to clasp a solid object. Our latest name idea for the new little punkin is Shelby Grace Waggenspack.....comments?
Photobucket
I have made it a tradition to carve pumpkins since Corbin was one and we are looking forward to doing it again after we get our punkins from the punkin patch this weekend. Look how tiny Claire was. She was all up in the action though pulling out the pulp and eating it.
Love those babies!!

Fall Fun with the Cousins

Last night Aunt Sara, Unle Chris, and Aunt Celine came over for some Fall fun! First we had a photo shoot in their Halloween costumes you can see them on www.portraitsbynat.com Then we decorated pumpkins and ate pizza! We had sooo much fun!!

Claire's pumpkin didn't have a face, but it it DID have three eyes, hair, and a giant glitter heart, BEAUTY!!!
Let the decorating BEGIN!! First, the babies emptied all the bags of puff balls and goobly eyes on the floor, then took off the tops to ALL the markers and paint pens, then scribbled their own individual and expressive, creative marks over all the punkins!

June was just overwhelemed by the whole experience. She was mesmerized by the glitter on her hands. She stared at her glitter hands for quite a while.

Intense concentration went into the production of their masterpeices!

Corbin made a Batman pumpkin. He loves to paint.

Sophie gave her pumpkin antennae!

Celine and sweet Sophie!

Here's Aunt Sara probably restraining June from eating more glitter!

We had so much fun and can't wait to get together again for pumpkin CARVING!! It is always special when we can get the kids together to play. They all got in their jammies after punkins, ate cookies, and played so well together until way past their bedtimes, wired on lolipops and chocolate.
