Popsicle

I don't know if it's easier to spoil a baby when you work all day and are filled with guilt at the end of the day from not getting to spend those precious moments in the day with her, or if its simply that she's cute. Tonight June shared a popsicle with Jimmy and we learned her new favorite thing. She went crazy and was so excited that she licked the stick and sucked on her fingers for thirty minutes after she finished!

Throwing the frisbee for Buddy

Almost every day when we get home from school, we go in the backyard on a blanket, read books, play with toys, and throw the ball or frisbee for Buddy. June LOVES to watch Buddy when he returnes with the frisbee! She was making some really funny faces today so I had to pull out the camera! Of Course!

Sickness and new Attitude

Friday night Jimmy and I went to see the African Children's Choir from Uganda sing. It was sooooo great. They sang so beautiful and danced like nothing else Woah it was really amazing! When they passed the offering plate June grabbed onto it and wouldn't let go. The usher was pulling it trying to get it away from her. When the he finally got it she swiped a quick grab with her tiny hand and pulled out a huge handful of cash! We were embarrassed and laughing until she got mad when we took it away, and had to create a quick diversion with one of the offering envelopes out of the back of the pew.

After that I started feeling bad. I barely slept that night and woke up with a fever and bad stomach and headache. Jimmy had to take care of June all weekend since I was sick. June was up all night Saturday night screaming and grumpy all day yesterday and today. It made me so sad to hear her cry and not be able to hold her in fear of getting her sick. She has this new attitude that I have never seen. If you walk by her and you don't pick her up, she will start screaming. If she is playing with a peice of paper (her favorite) and you take it away, she will throw a fit and scream. This is new for us. Here she is playing in her jump jump. She likes it for about 15 minutes, then its time for the next toy.

Here is an example, tonight I was feeding June a bannana. She took the peel and started to chew on it. When I noticed she was biting peices off, I took it out of her mouth. I didn't even take it away from her just pulled it out of her mouth...

This was June's reaction when I took the bannana out of her mouth. I have never seen her throw a fit of anger quite like this. Her face turned bright red and she was absolutely silent for about ten seconds and then this bloodcurtling scream, heard from miles away came out of her mouth!!

GIVE IT BACK TO ME NOW her eyes seemed to say as the tears streamed down (she hardly ever cries tears)

Then as if she had dual personalities, suddenly she saw a diversion, a spoon, WOW A SPOON!

Happy again!!! Just like that!

After a few minutes the spoon was old...and she started getting sleepy. She rubbed her eyes and her whole face with spoon in hand, let go of the spoon, and just like that....

she's upset again! You can see the spoon still under her chin. It has been quite a weekend. She is asleep now and I pray will stay asleep all night. Hopefully we will be able to recover this week!

Monchichi

I LOVE monchichi's! Does anyone else in this world remember these little fluffy headed adorable monkey toys with thumb sucking action and adorable plastic hands and feet, button noses, and unproportionately large fiveheads (instead of a "four"head)? They kind of look like my friend Jessica when she was a baby. Please comment if you ever had one! When I was little I had two of them and I absolutely loved them and carried them everywhere with me. I even had monchichi paper dolls. I was lucky enough to score a monchichi at the mall a few years ago and now I get so excited whenever I see one that I have to buy it!! Yesterday I found a monchichi on the clearance table at Randall's (random) with all the old christmas icing, resealed boxes of who knows what and damaged can goods. I couldn't believe my eyes only $2.00!!! WOOOOW I'm just glad that I have a kid now and I actually have a reason to buy stuff like this and blame it on her....this was her...ummm...happy 7 month birthday gift yeah its her 7 month birthday today!!! HAppy 7 months June!!!!

Gummy smile

Tonight I took this picture while June was laughing at Jimmy. I can dance around and do everything to make her smile sometimes and then Jimmy will just walk in the room and wave at her and she beams like the sun! I love her baby smile with no teeth! She has an ear infection right now and she hardly even cries. The doctor told us it was amazing she wasn't more upset because it looked really bad. She smiled through the whole exam like a good girl. Nana gave her a valentine on Saturday and she had a photo shoot with her cousins on Sunday. June is such a happy baby, I love her so much its scary!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

So today I decided to be photographed since I am always behind the camera and never in any pictures. I gave Jimmy a little lesson in photography and he took some good shots. I think he did a great job! Most of them were blurry or too bright but we ended up with a few cute ones. June is feeling sick today and had trouble sleeping last night. Poor baby. Daddy was still able to make her smile for Mommy's V-day photo shoot. We can't wait to see her cousins tommorrow!!

Love'n the black background!

Nana Love'n

My baby and my sweet Momma!!!

Tonight I tried a black background shoot and they turned out great! I only got a few shots before she peed all over the backdrop, but it was worth it.

I will be doing free photo sittings for the next few weeks to build my portfolio. If you are interested or know someone who is interested in a free session with up to 35 images email me natty241@hotmail.com

Claire's First Birthday

Saturday we went to June's cousin Claire's first birthday! There were toys, pizza, cake,a cake shaped jump jump and everything fun a kid could ask for in a birthday party! We had alot of fun! Here's some pics from our day.

Claire tore into her cake and was covered with pink icing!

June did't like Uncle Joseph holding her at first but she warmed up to him later

Claire- " June get your chubby thighs in here and play with me! It's so much fun!!"

Claire was all over the jump house! She would run about ten steps and fall, get up and do it again even if she had to plow through a few big kids and knock them over in her path. I couldn't get her to smile because she was focusing so hard on balancing as she ran!

June had so much fun in the ball pit with her friend Kayelyn!

Here's June with her Aunt Marjorie and cousin Emily

Sophie, Grammy and Claire's great grandma

June was so worn out at the end of the day. She was asleep the minute she hit the carseat!
