Yesterday a cool front came in, and the air was beautiful for the first time! When I left school, I went to get the girls from Juanitas and we went home to play outside! There were very few mosquitoes and the grass felt cold on our bare feet!
Shelby didn’t like the grass very much at first, but she kind of got used to it. Her foot was a good diversion!
I just cannot get enough of that smile. It’s sweeter than warm pancakes with maple syrup, which she ate for the first time Sunday morning!!!
I just love this fuzzy head baby so much!!!
June really LOVES bubbles, especially if you let her hold the bottle of bubbles and do it herself, it makes a huge difference, let me tell you this.
The slide!!
June likes to be REALLY dramatic! She can go from screaming at the top of her lungs happy, to the grouch face pouty in seconds, and back again!
“Unt some fwoot stacks” accompanied by this look (10 times a day)
She LOVES the grass
“Yook at da airpane, mommy”
“Yets wun (run)mommy AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Shelby was happy in her walk-around play thing the whole time!
“Mommy YOOK YOOK YOOK at the Gas Hopper!!!”
“YOOK at the apple!” no baby thats a pecan!
eggplant!!
Daddy showing Junie the fruits of his bountiful harvest!!
Our neighbor is growing these huge asian squashes that have invaded our backyard. There are giant squash hanging forty feet in the air where the vine has grown up the side of our tree!!
I think roses are the best flowers because they smell good, they’re pretty, and they bloom almost all year around!!
I am so excited about Fall. It makes me want to skip when the weather was like it was yesterday. I look forward to all the fun holiday festivities, Halloween crafts, pumpkin spice latte’s, bare foot frolicking in the grass, smiles, giggles, candy corn, and pumpkin pie. I can smell the yankee harvest cinnamon spice candles already!!
