Happy Half BirthdayJune!

June Can you beleive this was me, only six months ago with you in my tummy!!
This was the first moment that we met! Mommy was sooooo happy that she was crying and couldn't beleive how beautiful you were! This was one of the happiest moments in my memory! I loved you so much from the very second I saw you!!

Here is all 8 pounds 6 ounces of you! You were a big girl!

Daddy was so happy too when he first saw his baby June!

You were so sweet like a tiny angel. All of the nurses wanted to take care of you and told mommy and daddy how beautiful you were! Mommy held you and just watched you as you slept the entire first night because she was so excited to meet you, she couldn't even sleep!

You first started smiling at 8 weeks! This was at your 8 week doctor's appointment! You had two shots and hardly even cried!

You celebrated your first Halloween! You were a bear!

Mommy had fun dressing you as a pumpkin! Thats your favorite toy, Zoey, it makes you smile every time!

You also celebrated your first Thanksgiving! You helped Daddy cook a turkey! Two little Butterballs!

You just celebrated your first Christmas too! You loved eating the wrapping paper!

And look at you now, my big 6 month old baby! I am so proud of you! I am so blessed to get to spend every day with you and watch you grow, my dear beautiful baby girl, June! Mommy loves you soooooo much. Happy 6 month Halfy Birthday!!!!!

This week Jan. 12 2009

This was a crazy week in the Waggenspack house. Jimmy left for one week and mommy had to take care of the June bug "solo mission" June decided instead of sleeping in as she always does, she wants to wake up with mommy so I have to entertain her while I try to get ready at 5:30 am! Here she is with her furry babysitter

Thursday night we had the Rodeo art show at the museum. All of my students won first place and one student was a finalist for best of show. Here's Charlie (one of my favorite first graders) with his painting titled, "Cowboy Charlie"

June started eating level two foods which Jimmy was excited about! Here she is eating turkey and rice (her first meat!)

Here's June with her little mullet patch of hair on the back of her head. The rest hasn't caught up yet!

I love this face, its like "hey there, I can eat level 2 food now..Hawaian Delight, anyone?"

It was a good week. God's blessings are so abundant in my life right now. June's joy is infectious in our house and her squeals and giggles make me so happy. Thank you Lord Jesus for my family and the strength to make it alone when Jimmy travels!

June's favorites

Today June did her favorite things, eat, sleep, see Nana, and play with Buddy her constant companion all day long.

Here's a list of June's favorite things.....mommy and daddy, Nanna, Grammy, Juanita, BUDDY, silky blanket, naps, milk, sweet potatoes, and nakedness, and BUDDY. Buddy is constantly following me around and anywhere June is, there Buddy is also. He is never far from her side and loves laying beside her even when she is pulling his hair.He sleeps by her crib when she naps. June watches him and laughs alot...I can just see her climbing on his back one day. We got Buddy when June was 6 weeks old and he is the best dog ever. He is a living Teddy Bear. He is not much of a gaurd dog, but he makes me feel safe. He's a good ol' boy. He is one of June's favorite things.

Here's June riding her lady bug. She was very sleepy today (she's had a virus for 3 days)and I couldn't get her to giggle but she was very happy riding on Lulu.

LULU the Lady-Bug Rocker

Today Junebug got to visit her Aunt Lisa who loves her so very very much! Aunt Lisa brought June the cutest little rocking chair, "Lulu", that is squishy soft and plays music!! June's little tush just fits so perfectly in this thing and she would lean over and hug it and bite the antenae. June absolutely LOVES it!! She sat on it and rocked for 30 minutes giggling a squealing with ladybug delight! Thank you so much Aunt Lisa! We can't wait to see you again soon!

Today was a fun day, Here is June eating leaves for the first time...mmmmm

We went to a playdate at Aunt Celine's house and there were lots of babies. From left to right, Ava, Claire, Sophie, Rhien, Cece, Cooper, Ryan, and June-bug (who was asleep when the photos started)

We had lots of fun and the babies were very well behaved. I think they were all very overwhelmed at so many babies under one roof together! June just sat in the bumbo taking it all in and ocasionally grabbing a toy from a passer-by.

June adores Buddy. When she gets fussy, she always gets happy when we throw the ball for Buddy. She likes watching him drop the ball and run and get it. Sometimes he drops it on her all slobbery because he wants HER to throw it! I took Keosha home today. We had a great week together! We painted our nails, watched movies, did arts and crafts, stayed up late, ate papasitos, shopped, played with June, and took lots of pictures...this one is my all time fav! I already miss her!

Sippy Cup!

Today June got her first sippy cup! She was LOVING this thing! She was able to hold it with her hands and drink without having it tilted up like a bottle because it has a straw. The straw is soft like a bottle nipple! She was giggling and drooling water ALL over herself! She is such a big girl with her sippy!!

Happy New Year!

Last night we went to Sara and Chris's for New Year's Eve. It was fun and Pa grilled hamburgers. We ate black eyed peas and Keosha and I made cornbread and brownies!

I love this picture of the girls, it looks like June is saying, "Hey Claire, look at those cute boys over there, do you think they are looking at this fashionista flower bow on my head?" and Claire is saying, " No silly they are totally checking out my trendy fluffy vest, your multiple thighs are looking really good though!"
June: "What you look'n at Willis!?!"

Claire: "I really need to have your bow now, you are getting way too much attention and you need to remember that I am the Queen Bee Clairebee, and I need my proper respects, plus you are way too happy right now,June!"

Claire was on the move tonight! Look at her run across the yard in her warmzer suit!

Keosha and I set off lots of fireworks, here she is lighting a smoke bomb!

I kept wondering why my pictures were smoky and realized I was still holding the punk!
